1. Collected Data
We store your account details, saved conversations, submitted questions and answers, and any documents you upload. Conversations are saved automatically so you can return to them.
2. Data Usage
We use account and conversation data to provide Qyst. We collect first-party usage events to understand visits, sign-ins, and source opening. Marketing analytics do not contain your legal questions or documents. We do not sell this data.
3. Payment Data
Paid checkout is unavailable during the free beta. Qyst does not request card details. If paid plans launch later, their payment handling will be explained before purchase.
4. Service Providers
Qyst uses application and database hosting, Cloudflare Workers AI for inference, and an email provider. These services can process data outside Algeria. Workers AI states it does not train on customer content without explicit consent.
5. Data Protection
The public service uses HTTPS. Qyst servers and its providers process conversation content to deliver answers; the service is not end-to-end encrypted. Access to private conversations requires an account or a sharing link you choose to create.
6. Retention
Saved conversations and their query logs remain until deleted. Deleting a conversation removes its messages and associated query-log copies from the live database. Operational backups may still contain earlier copies. Contact us to request account deletion or discuss backup retention.
7. Your Rights
In accordance with Algerian legislation on personal data protection, you have the right to access, rectify, and delete your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@qyst.org.
8. Cookies
We use cookies and local storage for sign-in, language, preferences, and first-party visit attribution. We record referral domains and a campaign source when available, without private question text or full referring URLs. We do not use advertising trackers.
